A lot of the decline vs 10 years ago is simply due to increasing numbers of Boomers being in retirement age.<br /><br /> As for "part-time" argument, the number of people forced into part-time work that want full-time work is down 40% compared to 7 years ago. It is up vs 10 years ago, but some of that is simple population growth.<br /><br /> The real increase in part-time work seems to be by choice, as that stat is up by 15% since 2009.
