But that's only because of cuts to the UW System and no-increase in aids to public schools and local governments in this budget. Not a good trade-off, and your property taxes are likely to be higher this Winter as a result of this, along with the roads falling apart. <br /><br /> And you are correct, the next US economic downturn will hit sooner than later, and we will completely screwed when that happens. I have little doubt that Walker and WisGOP are hoping to have skipped town by then, so they can blame the Dems for whatever rough choices are needed to fix those problems. Right?) and I am starting to worry a bit about what happens when the national economy takes the inevitable downturn.<br /><br />I do appreciate these peek-behind-the-curtain analyses of yours.
