I spent a little bit of last...This is so important. I spent a little bit of last year putting together a presentation on how important the arts is to our tourism industry, especially in places like Door County. And if we want to keep feeding that, we can't keep demonizing/cutting arts and humanities programs, because they help seed this industry and that's crucial. I constantly hear jerks going on about why someone's writing, acting, or painting matters, and then take a short trip to anyplace in Door County and bam, it makes sense.
