And they hope that reality doesn't sink in until after the 2018 elections.

I noticed that both the UW and the Tech Colleges view the Foxconn plant as a place where they can send a skilled work force. I also noticed that the WISGOP Legislature isn't adding ONE CENT to higher ed to help those institutions, but they expect Foxconn to take advantage of them.

And you wonder why we keep lagging behind? I think we see who the true welfare kings and queens are in this stateJake formerly of the LPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15660401299391001751noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3426800777521979578.post-18855732308402444522017-08-03T20:29:03.648-05:002017-08-03T20:29:03.648-05:00At this point I'm pretty convinced that the pu...At this point I'm pretty convinced that the purpose of all this is to keep state finances tight and so provide cover for never restoring public education funding.

Got to provide some projects you can point to as where the money went in order to distract from tax cuts for the 1% as a cause.GeoffThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17317722272565026078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3426800777521979578.post-27813549380973762972017-08-03T19:38:49.681-05:002017-08-03T19:38:49.681-05:00Yeah, this is right up WMC's alley.

We could have a strong economy like they do.

The REAL job creation is made in start-up and small businesses, which Walker and WMC avoid like the plague (hence our incredibly bad reputation).

$3 billion for 3,000 - 13,000 jobs, when we have so many other budgetary needs to meet, is NO good for us working taxpayers, both now and in the future.

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3426800777521979578.post-66516333198485906292017-08-03T18:16:15.672-05:002017-08-03T18:16:15.672-05:00By the way, we are 5 hours into this "public&...By the way, we are 5 hours into this "public" hearing, and we are still on the invited speakers list. Right now, we have a hack from WMC talking up this BS, because there's nothing more that WMC likes than taxpayer handouts and lower standards for work and the environment.Jake formerly of the LPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15660401299391001751noreply@blogger.com
