WisGOP's COVID wreck at new heights. And depths

As I noted, the big jump in hospitalizations that we saw in the last couple of weeks was likely to manifest itself in more deaths from COVID in the coming weeks. And that has now started, with a record number of deaths over the last 7 days.

The case metrics are also bad. This includes the total number of cases and the numbers of positive tests vs people tested. Both are at record, epidemic highs, although the number of Wisconsinites tested is not.

But hey, nothing to worry about if you're one of the special folks in GOP Bubble World right?

And yes, there is a Wisconsin tie to the world's most famous COVID patient. Especially in how they tried to hide this information from the rubes that were planning to see him in these parts. Given what we've been told about Trump's COVID diagnosis, the White House staff had a strong idea that he had COVID by Wednesday. And yet, they were more than willing to have the show go on, no matter who got endangered.
