I was kind of happy I worked through the game (of course, I checked gamecasts as I worked, and YOU DID TOO), it would have been a lot to take to watch and take off work, especially if they had to play tomorrow, since I was going. But now we don't have to make the roadie to Milwaukee until Thursday, do we?
It's really hard to wrap my head around a lot of this. Winning 8 in a row to end it, beating the (much higher-payroll) Cubs in their yard to finish the job, and going 28-10 from the middle of August. I obviously hope the ride continues for the rest of this month, but this has already been a historic year for a franchise that hasn't had that many in 49 years in Milwaukee.
And then there was this.

NO! Just...no, you grifting bandwagon-hopping dope. You do not get to use the Brewers goodwill to try to pull "want a beer with him" cred. NO! NO! NO!
Are you sure? https://t.co/oZShbthAZu

And in case you're curious, here's a comparison.
Congratulations to the @Brewers on clinching the NL Central crown! #OurCrewOurOctober

Even in something as banal as a state politician giving congrats to a state team winning a title, the difference is telling. Walker still tweets himself as the subject, and not the Crew.
Whatever. I will not let that lowlife drag down this great moment. Onto the NLDS!
News flash to the 50-year-old man in the Governor’s Mansion: Bitstrips cartoons were popular for about two weeks back in 2014. Nobody really believes you’re a 17-year-old boy with a full head of hair. Take a lesson from your challenger, who posted congratulations to the team worthy of an adult.
